Audit Senior

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced (3 years of minimum Public Audit) Permanent Audit Senior to join our team. This role will require you to harness your expertise in auditing, financial reporting, internal controls, risk assessment, and financial analysis to ensure the financial integrity of our organization. With your in-depth knowledge of financial systems and procedures, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization, contributing to our overall growth and success.

As a Permanent Audit Senior, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Conducting detailed audits of our financial operations, identifying potential risks and areas for improvement.
2. Preparing comprehensive financial reports, clearly outlining our financial status and any areas of concern.
3. Implementing and maintaining robust internal controls to safeguard our financial assets and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
4. Conducting thorough risk assessments to identify potential financial risks and suggesting preventive measures.
5. Performing advanced financial analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of concern.
6. Collaborating with other finance team members to improve financial processes and systems.
7. Providing guidance and support to junior audit team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing, financial reporting, risk assessment, and internal controls.
3. Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA is highly desirable.
4. Proficient in using auditing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
6. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare reports.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of management.
8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10. Strong critical thinking skills, excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
