Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate for the Permanent Audit Senior role will have
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the finance industry
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred
- Extensive experience in auditing, particularly within the realm of alternative investments
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify financial discrepancies and anomalies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor junior staff
- Proficiency in using financial software and databases
- A high level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work
- A proactive approach, with the ability to manage your own workload and meet tight deadlines
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Responsibilities
- This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for leading audits and investigations into our financial operations
- This role is crucial in ensuring our financial accountability and integrity
- Lead and execute audits across various departments, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards
- Review financial statements, records, reports, operations and documentation to ascertain the reliability and integrity of financial management controls
- Identify areas of financial risk within the organization and propose solutions to mitigate these risks
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and make recommendations to improve policies and procedures
- Work closely with other members of the finance team to understand and assess the financial implications of business decisions
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation that may affect the organization's operations
- Collaborate with external auditors, providing them with the necessary support and information for their annual audit
