Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Plan and lead various audit, review, compilation, and accounting projects, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time.
- Prepare and review workpapers, financial statements, and tax-related schedules, ensuring all documents are accurate and comply with GAAP and GAAS.
- Communicate effectively with clients and co-workers to build and strengthen relationships, and to ensure all parties are kept informed of project progress and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and guidelines, and ensure these changes are implemented in all relevant projects.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of our auditing and accounting processes and systems, to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification or actively working towards completion of exam.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an auditing within public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and co-workers.
- Proficiency in the use of accounting software and other relevant computer applications.
