Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee audit engagements, primarily for clients within the construction sector.
• Prepare/review audit risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices, keeping in mind the unique financial structures of construction projects.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their financial statements accurately represent their operations and are in compliance with professional and industry guidelines.
• Prepare/review workpapers, financial statements, including footnote disclosures
• Stay updated with evolving accounting and auditing standards, especially those pertinent to the construction industry.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA required
• Applied understanding of GAAP, GAAS, SSARS, and quality control standards
• Minimum of 5 years of audit experience and preference for a strong focus on the construction industry.
• Proficiency with audit software and familiarity with construction-specific financial systems.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
• Leadership qualities and a team-oriented approach.
