Key Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Lead and oversee audit engagements, primarily for clients within the construction sector.
- Prepare/review audit risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices, keeping in mind the unique financial structures of construction projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their financial statements accurately represent their operations and are in compliance with professional and industry guidelines.
- Prepare/review workpapers, financial statements, including footnote disclosures
- Stay updated with evolving accounting and auditing standards, especially those pertinent to the construction industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA required
- Applied understanding of GAAP, GAAS, SSARS, and quality control standards
- Minimum of 5 years of audit experience and preference for a strong focus on the construction industry.
- Proficiency with audit software and familiarity with construction-specific financial systems.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
- Leadership qualities and a team-oriented approach.
