Software & Automation Integration Manager
Remote with some travel to CA, NC or TX.
We’re seeking an experienced Automation Implementation & Development Manager with a rare blend of hands-on industrial systems experience and modern software development capabilities, including GoLang and Fyne GUI. You will lead cross-functional initiatives integrating AGVs, ASRS, robotics, and conveyance systems—building the tools and interfaces that bring automation to life.This is a highly collaborative, technical leadership role that will own both the strategy and execution of automation programs across hardware, software, and operational workflows. Ideal for someone who thrives on tackling real-world automation challenges with elegant, scalable software solutions.

What You’ll Do
- Own the full lifecycle of industrial automation projects—from technical scoping through validation, rollout, and continuous improvement
- Design and develop internal tools using GoLang and Fyne for managing and visualizing automation workflows
- Collaborate with engineering, controls, QA, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of automation and robotics systems
- Lead testing initiatives across MHE platforms, including regression, UAT, performance, and functional validation
- Use Jira and other project tools to plan, manage, and report on initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement through real-time system data, quality metrics, and user feedback
- Mentor team members across automation, testing, and software development disciplines
Skills you need:
- 6+ years in automation systems implementation or industrial engineering roles
- 4+ years in technical leadership, preferably with MHE, AGVs, robotics, or ASRS
- Proficiency in GoLang, including experience with Fyne for desktop GUI development
- Familiarity with MHE systems and warehouse execution/control systems (WES/WCS)
- Strong testing and QA knowledge, including UAT, automation scripting, and continuous validation
- Hands-on experience using Jira for project tracking and issue management
- Experience integrating hardware/software systems and optimizing for throughput, FPY, or OEE
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven automation tools
- Background in ERP/WMS integration (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Experience in logistics, healthcare supply chain, or fulfillment center environments
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks, vision systems, and robotics programming
