Location: Remote + Travel (up to 50% only during months of travel)

We’re seeking an experienced Automation Implementation & Development Manager to lead the successful rollout of industrial automation systems across hardware, software, and operational environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, hands-on implementation, and continuous improvement — and who has a strong passion for merging automation with AI to optimize and scale operational performance.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, test, implement, and continuously refine high-impact automation initiatives. From AGVs and ASRS to conveyance and robotics, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the successful execution and seamless integration of cutting-edge technology into complex environments.

What You’ll Do
- Drive the implementation and testing of automation projects, including MHE, robotics, and AI-integrated solutions
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across development, QA, operations, and business units
- Develop and maintain automation testing strategies, frameworks, and documentation
- Oversee testing phases (UAT, regression, integration, performance, functional) to ensure readiness for production
- Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and operations to ensure quality and compliance
- Identify and address system or process inefficiencies; implement scalable improvements
- Ensure all deliverables meet internal standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements
- Provide transparency through regular reporting on test results, quality metrics, and project status
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years in automation implementation, with direct experience in MHE and industrial systems
- 4+ years in a leadership capacity within industrial automation environments
- Hands-on experience with AGV, ASRS, robotics, and pick-to-light/put-to-light systems
- Experience in test automation tools (e.g., JIRA, HP-ALM, LoadRunner, etc.)
- Deep understanding of development/testing lifecycles and software QA best practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
