We are seeking a dynamic and driven Automation Specialist to join our fast-paced engineering team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work with some of the most advanced automation technologies in the industry. As an Automation Specialist, you will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our automation systems. You will work closely with our engineering team and other stakeholders to ensure our automation systems are efficient, reliable, and meet the business needs. Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automation systems to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Troubleshoot and repair automation systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of automation systems to prevent breakdowns and malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop new automation strategies and solutions.
  • Provide technical support and training to other staff members on the operation and maintenance of automation systems.
  • Review and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand the layout and function of automation systems.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest automation technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience with Electrical Controls, Robotics, Electrical Troubleshooting/Programming, and 480V.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficient in using various software applications related to automation systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
