Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in PLC automation, preferably with Allen-Bradley systems, as well as a background in general maintenance and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC automation systems, including Allen-Bradley controls and robotic systems (e.g., Escala, articulated arms).
  • Perform preventive and routine maintenance on a wide range of production and facility equipment:
o Injection molding machines
o Thermoforming lines
o Waterjet cutting machines
o Heat ovens
o Conveyor systems
o Ultrasonic welders and CNC trimmers
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to minimize downtime.
  • Support material handling systems and automated storage/retrieval systems.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking usage, reordering critical parts, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with production and fabrication teams to identify areas for improvement and implement equipment upgrades or enhancements.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety and quality standards, participating in audits, inspections, and regular training.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance in a high-volume manufacturing setting (automotive preferred).
  • Proficiency with PLC systems, particularly Allen-Bradley.
  • Solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Hands-on experience with robotic systems and automation equipment (e.g., conveyors, pick-and-place, CNC).
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or on a team.
  • Inventory management and spare parts tracking experience is beneficial.
  • Willingness to learn and support continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.
