Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician for a 12-hour night shift role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position supports robotics, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), and automated assembly machinery to ensure smooth production and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain robots, EOAT, conveyors, degators, and secondary equipment
Perform basic robotic programming and troubleshoot automated machinery
Support production runs by resolving technical issues quickly and effectively
Maintain accurate work instructions and training documentation
Troubleshoot and repair assembly equipment, including pad printers, sonic welders, heat stakers, and hot stampers
Fabricate fixtures, guarding, and other production aids as needed
Order parts and materials to support equipment readiness
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
Uphold all safety protocols, serving as a role model for safe work behavior
Other duties as assigned to support manufacturing and automation objectives
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certificate preferred
2โ5 years of automation, robotics, or related manufacturing experience
Fork truck and Lockout/Tagout certification required (or ability to obtain)
Proficient with hand tools and conventional manufacturing equipment
