Job Details

Oversee all aspects of aircraft maintenance, including inspections, repairs, airworthiness, and records management.

Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and safety standards.

Maintain and update the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and ensure all maintenance personnel are trained and adhere to its policies.

Develop and manage aircraft maintenance schedules, including tracking inspections, ADs, SBs, and time-limited components.

Serve as the primary liaison with the FAA and other regulatory bodies regarding maintenance issues.

Manage maintenance personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.

Coordinate with flight operations to ensure aircraft availability and minimal downtime.

Oversee purchasing, inventory control, and vendor management for parts, tooling, and outside services.

Develop and manage departmental budgets, maintenance forecasting, and cost control.

Respond to aircraft discrepancies and AOG events to minimize operational impact.

Conduct internal audits and participate in external inspections as needed.


Qualifications:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate – Required

Inspection Authorization (IA) – Preferred

Minimum of 5–7 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.

In-depth knowledge of FAA Part 135 regulations, GMM, MEL, and maintenance programs.

Experience with turboprop and/or jet aircraft – [Insert fleet type if applicable].

Strong understanding of maintenance tracking systems (e.g., CAMP, Traxxall, Flightdocs).

Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.
