One of our favorite clients in Florence is looking for a Lead Security Engineer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies and programs to protect the organization’s information technology and knowledge assets, both on-premise and in the cloud. The right candidate will have strong knowledge and experience working with Azure cloud technologies and Windows server environments.

This candidate should also have extensive experience with the entire Microsoft Office 365 and Azure security and compliance suite.
A successful candidate for this role will be able to:
- Analyze existing environments on an ongoing basis to identify security risks and develop risk plans.
- Continually improve and maintain our security posture against defined standards (NIST, etc.)
- Provide evidence of our security posture for annual SOC audits.
- Effectively communicate current security posture and future needs to senior management
- Ensure that systems are in place to adequately monitor for and mitigate security threats.
- Implement and manage training security programs for employees.
- Work closely with the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Data Officer, while reporting to the Director of IT infrastructure.
This candidate should also have extensive experience with the entire Microsoft Office 365 and Azure security and compliance suite.
