Back-End Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

Leverage your talents to seek out solutions to difficult problems with dedicated passion
Adapt and pivot effectively as projects and workloads shift with emerging product needs
Design, develop and test client-facing APIs and supporting back-end processes
Integrate third-party APIs into new and existing business processes
Work closely with data scientists to support data studies and advance our machine learning
Compile, analyze data processes and codes to troubleshoot and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate effectively as a team player to achieve shared goals and successes
Continue learning with certification opportunities, testing, and peer reviews
Provide a flexible schedule for specialized work which may occur outside of business hours
Create and maintain all technical documentation for APIs, back-end processes, and database solutions
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in IT related filed
5+ years of experience in software development and related fields
3+ years of experience in C# and writing SQL statements, R and Python languages
Experience with RESTful APIs, and .Net Core preferred
Fluency in relational, non-relational, and graph databases
Desire to solve problems and collaborate through effective communication
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to manage hardware and software integrations
