Job Details
We are looking for a skilled Rotating Equipment Technician with hands-on experience using Schenck balancing machines. This role focuses on dynamic balancing and inspection of rotating equipment such as motors, pumps, fans, and turbines. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and be comfortable working in industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and perform balancing using Schenck balance machines
Inspect rotating equipment and components using OD and ID micrometers
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions
Document test results and maintain detailed reports
Follow all safety protocols in industrial settings
Requirements:
Experience operating Schenck dynamic balancing machines (required)
Knowledge of mechanical systems including shafts, bearings, and couplings
Ability to read measurements and work with tight tolerances
Physical ability to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred but Not Required:
Experience with vibration analysis and balancing techniques
Familiarity with additional mechanical test equipment
Work Environment:
May involve work in shops, factories, or field locations
Must be adaptable and willing to travel as needed
