Our growing Monmouth County, NJ office—an extension of a well-established NYC law firm—is seeking an experienced attorney or seasoned paralegal with experience in private lending operations to join our fast-paced, high-performing real estate closing team. Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
- Draft, review, and edit legal documents and closing packages with a high level of accuracy
- Draft professional correspondence and communicate effectively with attorneys, lenders, brokers, and title companies
- Review and negotiate title work and ensure accuracy of closing documents
- Analyze and confirm details in entity documents, purchase agreements, and loan documents
- Coordinate with internal document specialists and funding assistants to ensure seamless closings
- Deliver exceptional client service and respond promptly to inquiries via email and phone
- Track and manage deadlines and document workflows across multiple active files
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in representing private lenders in non-owner-occupied real estate transactions
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines under pressure
- Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, responsive, and client-focused
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document systems
- A positive, team-first mindset with a strong work ethic
- Bachelor's Degree
