Job Details

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Michigan bankruptcy laws and procedures, be committed to upholding the highest standards of legal practice, and possess a keen ability to navigate complex financial situations.

Responsibilities:

Handle bankruptcy matters, including Chapters 7, 11, and 13, with a focus on creditor representation.
Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to bankruptcy proceedings.
Represent clients in hearings, trials, and negotiations.
Advise financial institutions on compliance and regulatory issues.
Manage a caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Requirements:

J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
5+ years of experience in bankruptcy law, with a focus on creditors' rights.
Strong legal writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills.
Experience handling bankruptcy litigation and related compliance matters.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
