Job Details

  • Represent debtors, creditors, trustees, committees, and asset purchasers in bankruptcy proceedings
  • Handle Chapter 7, 11, 13, and 15 cases, including complex business reorganizations and cross-border insolvencies
  • Litigate adversary proceedings and contested matters in bankruptcy court
  • Structure and negotiate workouts, forbearance agreements, and bankruptcy plans
  • Manage asset sales, Section 363 transactions, and receivership matters
  • Advise clients on distressed debt, liquidation strategies, and compliance with bankruptcy code
  • Collaborate with attorneys in related practice areas, including real estate, corporate, and litigation

Looking For:

  • J.D. and licensed to practice in Florida
  • 3+ years of experience in bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring law
  • Proven experience handling Chapter 11 reorganization and creditor-side litigation
  • Background in assignments for the benefit of creditors and receiverships
  • Experience representing trustees, committees, or purchasers in bankruptcy transactions
