We are seeking a seasoned, dynamic, and dedicated Permanent Bankruptcy Attorney to join our legal team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a professional with a strong background in bankruptcy, foreclosure, Chapter 7, creditors, debt, and Chapter 11. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing a complex caseload while providing expert advice and representation to our clients. If you are a driven, detail-oriented, and organized individual with a passion for helping clients navigate the intricacies of bankruptcy law, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of bankruptcy and foreclosure cases from inception to conclusion.
2. Analyze and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations with probable case outcomes for individuals and businesses.
3. Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings.
4. Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, and opinions.
5. Negotiate with creditors to arrange for debt relief or liquidation.
6. Provide expert legal advice to clients on bankruptcy, foreclosure, and debt-related matters.
7. Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a bankruptcy attorney.
3. Active member of the State Bar in good standing.
4. Extensive knowledge and understanding of bankruptcy law, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 11.
5. Demonstrated experience in foreclosure, debt, and dealing with creditors.
6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
8. High level of organization and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
