Job Details
Responsibilities -
+ Plan, coordinate, and oversee building automation projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
+ Direct and supervise engineers, installers, subcontractors, and technicians while maintaining quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
+ Perform job walks with sales teams, conduct project turnovers, and attend site meetings to monitor progress.
+ Review project bids, track financial performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
+ Develop, monitor, and update project schedules while keeping stakeholders informed of changes.
+ Manage change orders, documentation, and project close-outs in accordance with requirements.
+ Mentor and develop field technicians and installers, supporting both technical skill-building and career growth.
+ Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and project requirements.
+ Support staffing needs and workforce planning to keep projects properly resourced.
+ Maintain consistent communication with customers, delivering updates and building strong relationships.
Qualifications -
+ 10 or more years of commercial HVAC experience in building automation and energy services preferred
+ 5 or more years of experience managing building automation projects
+ Proficiency with building automation systems
+ Strong financial management and scheduling expertise
+ Proven ability to coordinate teams and manage subcontractors effectively
+ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
+ Commitment to regular and punctual attendance
+ Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting, climbing, and working in varying environments
