BAS/HVAC Controls Technician

With nearly 100 years of experience, we have served various clients, including business owners, managers, general contractors, building owners, and homeowners, providing expertise in heating, cooling, and roofing. We have 2 divisions, one focuses on commercial projects like construction, upgrades, and HVAC and roofing replacements, while the other caters to residential needs, specializing in HVAC and home energy solutions.

As an HVAC/BAS controls specialist on our team, you will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of BAS/BMS controls. This role will be roughly 80% in the field at customer sites and you will be provided a company vehicle. Responsibilities include performing start-up, checking, testing, system diagnostics, and commissioning from system-level controllers to end devices for small to medium-sized new or retrofit projects.

MUST HAVE:

• 2+ years of building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience
• Willingness to be in the field locally at client sites roughly 80% of the time.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following BAS systems: Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or other
• Willing to perform controls wiring installation and termination

NICE TO HAVE:

• Tridium Niagara programming (N4)
• DDC Controls experience
• Working knowledge of HVAC 3 to 50 ton Roof Top Unit start-up proficiency of major brands, Trane, Diakin, Carrier, York, Aaon
