BAS Service Technician

We are a leading provider of cutting-edge Building Automation Systems (BAS) solutions, keeping NYC’s commercial, healthcare, educational, and high-rise buildings running efficiently. We specialize in integrating smart controls to optimize HVAC performance, energy consumption, and occupant comfort.

As a BAS Service Technician, you’ll be the boots-on-the-ground expert responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing Building Automation / DDC control systems across the NYC metro area.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with BAS hardware and software, including Tridium Niagara systems.
• Perform routine system checks and maintenance to ensure optimal system functionality.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of BAS equipment, including sensors, controllers, and field devices.
• Modify or update system logic, graphics, and sequences as needed to meet client requirements.
• Provide clear and professional communication with clients, explaining system operations, issues, and solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including service reports and updates to system documentation.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of BAS/DDC/HVAC Controls experience
• Experience with one or more of the following platforms; Schneider Electric, Distech, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Automated Logic, Trane, KMC, Reliable Controls etc
• Tridium Niagara N4 certification (preferred)
• BACnet communication
