This hands-on role offers the opportunity to solve technical challenges, improve system performance, and collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and project teams. If you enjoy turning control sequences into dependable real-world results, this is your chance to make a measurable impact.

Responsibilities

Perform sequence testing to verify that BAS controls operate according to approved sequences of operation and project requirements.

Complete point-to-point verification of sensors, actuators, controllers, inputs, and outputs to confirm accurate installation, communication, and operation.

Develop, update, and validate project graphics to provide clear, accurate visualization of equipment status, alarms, trends, and system performance.

Make BAS adjustments to setpoints, schedules, control parameters, and alarm settings within approved operating requirements.

Troubleshoot control issues, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions with technicians, contractors, and facility stakeholders.

Support commissioning, functional performance testing, system upgrades, and integration activities while minimizing disruption to manufacturing operations.

Maintain accurate documentation, including test results, issue logs, configuration changes, graphics updates, and commissioning records.

Follow site safety procedures and change-control requirements when testing or modifying systems.

Identify opportunities to improve reliability, energy efficiency, and ease of operation.

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on experience with building automation systems, controls, commissioning, or equivalent technical work.

Demonstrated experience with sequence testing, point-to-point verification, project graphics, system adjustments, and documentation, or equivalent skills.

Ability to interpret control drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment schedules, and sequences of operation.

Working knowledge of HVAC controls, sensors, actuators, controllers, and BAS networks.

Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail when testing systems and documenting results.

Ability to work effectively with engineering, maintenance, operations, and external service teams.

Commitment to safe work practices and reliable system operation in an active manufacturing environment.

Experience in manufacturing or industrial facilities is preferred.

A technical diploma, associate degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent practical experience in automation, controls, electronics, HVAC, or a related field is preferred.
