Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the installation, programming, and calibration of BAS controllers, sensors, actuators, and user interfaces.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on all BAS equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with BAS equipment and software, utilizing problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement new BAS features and updates.
  • Provide technical support and training to other staff members on the use and maintenance of the BAS.
  • Analyze system data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in building automation and energy management.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a BAS Technician or in a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of BAS controllers, sensors, actuators, and user interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of energy management principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and understanding building automation system designs and schematics.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems and procedures in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to staying updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
