In this role, the Benefit & Advocacy Specialists responsible for enrolling HIPP eligible Medicaid patients and other qualified family members onto employer sponsored health insurance. The enrollment process will require direct contact with employers, policy holders, third party administrators, employee benefit portals and in some instances insurance brokers.

Job Details

In this role, you will work to increase employer enrollment by communicating with employers via email, text, and phone calls; understanding and evaluate complicated employment laws, insurance plans and state subsidy programs to educate employers and employees; and ensure all enrollment information is accurate and required documentation is notated and available for the state application

You will also assist assist employees with obtaining, understanding, and completing benefit and enrollment materials by working closely with their employer and/or benefit administrator.

Key Skills and Notes:
  • Hybrid Schedule - 2 days onsite required at Greater Boston corporate office
  • Insurance background helpful
  • Knowledge of employee benefits and employment laws
