We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This exciting opportunity will allow you to leverage your expertise in benefits analysis, compliance, and enrollment audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing 401K programs, auditing monthly billing statements, overseeing merit increase, bonus, and commission programs. Proficiency in Ultipro, UKG, and SHRM is essential. The role also involves handling garnishments and ensuring all benefits are administered in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Administer and manage the company’s benefits programs such as 401K, health insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and other employee benefits.
2. Conduct benefits analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of the current benefits plan and propose improvements.
3. Audit monthly billing statements for all benefits programs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
4. Perform enrollment audits to ensure all employees are correctly enrolled in the appropriate benefits programs.
5. Ensure that all benefits programs are in compliance with federal and state laws.
6. Manage the merit increase, bonus, and commission programs, ensuring they are administered accurately and fairly.
7. Handle garnishments, ensuring they are processed correctly and in compliance with legal requirements.
8. Utilize Ultipro, UKG, and SHRM software to manage benefits programs and data.
9. Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure seamless integration of benefits programs.
10. Provide excellent customer service to employees, answering their questions about benefits programs and resolving any issues.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a benefits specialist role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in 401K administration, benefits analysis, and enrollment audits.
3. Experience in auditing monthly billing statements for benefits programs.
4. Strong knowledge of compliance laws related to benefits programs.
5. Experience in managing merit increase, bonus, and commission programs.
6. Proficiency in handling garnishments.
7. Strong skills in Ultipro, UKG, and SHRM software.
8. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
9. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
10. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
11. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
12. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
