As a Permanent Billing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the Sales industry. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving success and delivering top-notch service to our clients. We are seeking an individual who is not only experienced in Chemical Engineering, Project Management, and the oil and gas sector but also has a working knowledge of NetSuite, quotations, and proposals. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth, with exposure to a wide range of industry-leading clients and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the entire billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing of customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to ensure accurate billing information.
  • Review and analyze complex billing data, identify discrepancies, and take appropriate action to resolve them.
  • Prepare quotations and proposals in line with customer requirements and company policies.
  • Utilize NetSuite to maintain and update customer billing information.
  • Monitor the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring all outstanding invoices are collected promptly.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of billing systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Liaise with clients to resolve any billing queries or issues, providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Coordinate with the chemical engineering team to understand the technical aspects that may impact billing.
  • Work on projects within the oil and gas sector, providing valuable input from a billing perspective.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar ERP software.
  • Strong understanding of billing procedures and best practices.
  • Exceptional numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in preparing quotations and proposals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
