As a Consulting Billing Specialist, you will:
1. Prepare, review, and distribute customer invoices according to company guidelines.
2. Collaborate with the consulting team to verify contract terms, rates, and billing cycles.
3. Analyze and resolve billing queries in a timely and effective manner.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records.
5. Conduct account reconciliation and generate financial reports for management.
6. Coordinate with the finance team to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
7. Improve billing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
8. Assist with month-end closing and prepare monthly billing reports.
9. Comply with all financial policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Billing Specialist position will have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or a similar role.
3. Proficiency in Sage and other accounting software.
4. Strong knowledge of billing procedures and best practices.
5. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. The ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
