Job Details
We are looking for a BIM Technician/Drafter II to join our team. The role requires a solid background in BIM software, proficiency in drafting standards, and a solid foundation in architectural projects. The BIM Technician/Drafter II will assist in BIM processes, contribute to the development, modification, and maintenance of BIM models for architectural projects, and produce detailed architectural design drawings, models, and documentation utilizing Revit, AutoCAD, etc., while adhering to industry standards. This position should be fully competent in all conventional aspects of architecture and have experience in quality control.

- A technical or professional degree in architecture, engineering, or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills:
- Fully competent in all conventional aspects of architecture and can independently perform a variety of assignments requiring skills in these architectural aspects for projects of moderate size and complexity.
- Technical knowledge in architectural design principles, Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite necessary. Experience with Rhino, -SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Lumion a plus but not required.
- Maintain and update BIM models throughout the design and construction phases, ensuring all changes and revisions are integrated seamlessly.
- Review and analyze project documents, including architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in coordinating and resolving BIM model conflicts and design issues, working closely with the project team to find efficient solutions.
- Familiarity with project coordination and conflict resolution within a BIM environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Perform analyses of design, planning and occupancy studies, and design layouts.
- Prepare project specifications, compiling and analyzing relevant data.
- Creates reports, plans, estimates, and calculations.
