Job Details
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees within the blow molding department
- Drive daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are achieved
- Monitor blow molding equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high standards for product quality and customer satisfaction
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency
- Analyze production metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Partner with maintenance, quality, and operations teams to optimize manufacturing performance
- Maintain compliance with all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company procedures
- Conduct employee training, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives focused on waste reduction, process improvement, and cost savings
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, workforce planning, and employee engagement activities
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in blow molding, plastics manufacturing, injection molding, extrusion, packaging, or related production operations strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and production scheduling
- Experience leading teams and driving employee performance
- Proven ability to troubleshoot production challenges and improve operational efficiency
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis methodologies
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems
