Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal Representation: Provide expert legal representation for clients in bodily injury cases, including but not limited to auto accidents, premises liability, product liability, and medical malpractice.

  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of traumatic injury cases from inception to resolution, ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes.

  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies, draft legal documents, and prepare for court proceedings.

  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on case progress, answer inquiries, and manage expectations.

  • Courtroom Representation: Attend court hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions to advocate on behalf of clients.

  • Negotiation: Negotiate settlements when appropriate, striving to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, paralegals, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient approach to case management.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

  • Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with legal developments and industry trends related to bodily injury defense.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in FL
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on traumatic injury defense.
  • Strong litigation and courtroom experience.
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
