Job Details
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team, specializing in family office, investment partnerships, and trust accounting. As a key member of our financial team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and organized financial records across diverse portfolios. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and a deep understanding of family office dynamics, investment partnerships, and trust accounting.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping and Record Maintenance:
Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for family office, investment partnerships, and trust accounts.
Financial Reporting:
Generate regular financial reports for family office clients, investment partnerships, and trust entities.
Prepare financial statements and summaries for review by relevant stakeholders.
Family Office Coordination:
Collaborate with family office teams to ensure accurate representation of financial data.
Address inquiries and provide financial insights to family members as needed.
Investment Partnerships:
Monitor investment transactions, reconciling portfolios and ensuring accuracy.
Collaborate with investment teams to track and report investment performance.
Trust Accounting:
Oversee trust accounting functions, including income distributions, contributions, and compliance.
Ensure adherence to trust accounting principles and legal requirements.
Financial Compliance:
Stay informed about regulatory changes impacting family office, investment partnerships, and trust accounting.
Implement and maintain compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper with a focus on family office, investment partnerships, and trust accounting.
Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
Familiarity with investment management software and trust accounting systems.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to adapt to evolving financial landscapes and regulatory environments.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus.
Previous experience in family office, investment partnerships, or trust accounting roles.
