We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable / Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Healthcare industry. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual who has a keen eye for detail, a passion for numbers, and a strong understanding of the accounts payable process. You will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in your work.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage accounts payable activities including receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Maintain vendor files and correspondences, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
3. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, as well as monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date.
4. Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other financial records.
5. Assist in month-end closing procedures and generate financial reports as required.
6. Liaise with other departments and vendors to resolve any discrepancies or inquiries related to accounts payable.
7. Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information, following company policies and regulations.
8. Utilize Great Plains software to streamline and automate the accounts payable process.
9. Perform administrative tasks as necessary, such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
2. Proven experience as a bookkeeper and familiarity with invoice management.
3. Proficiency in using Great Plains software preferred.
4. Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy.
5. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal departments.
7. Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
9. Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative in seeking solutions to complex issues.
