The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the financial records of our company, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Bookkeeper, your day-to-day tasks will be filled with exciting challenges and responsibilities, including:
1. Accurately recording and updating financial transactions in the company's ledger.
2. Handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and tracking expenses.
3. Conducting regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
4. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and expense reports.
5. Maintaining an organized and streamlined accounting system.
6. Providing administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
7. Ensuring compliance with all internal processes and legal requirements.
8. Identifying and addressing discrepancies.
9. Assisting in the preparation and coordination of the audit process.
10. Implementing and maintaining financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
2. Proven bookkeeping experience with a solid understanding of accounting payable/receivable principles.
3. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, and experience with accounting software packages.
5. Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
6. Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
7. Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
8. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
9. BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is a plus.
