Job Details

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage bookkeeping for up to 15 small business clients
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
  • Analyze and prepare financial statements and reports
  • Identify and resolve errors on P&Ls and balance sheets
  • Handle sales tax and franchise tax filings with the Comptroller
  • Process payroll and associated compliance (941, 940, 944, TWC)
  • Submit government payments via EFTPS
  • Create and maintain depreciation and amortization schedules
  • Maintain regular communication with clients
  • Support individual and entity tax preparation
  • Participate in internal audits and financial reviews
What You Bring:
  • 3+ years of experience as a full charge bookkeeper
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting
  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise (Desktop)
  • Intermediate-level Excel skills
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish
  • Experience with payroll, EFTPS, and Texas-specific tax compliance
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines independently
