Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts.

  • Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings, including withholding calculations and remittances.

  • Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide clients with accurate insights into their financial health.

  • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Details

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
