Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and update financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
2. Work closely with the accounting team to create and analyze financial reports.
3. Ensure all transactions are properly recorded in the company's ledger.
4. Process accounts payable and receivable, manage invoices, and perform reconciliations.
5. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
6. Ensure compliance with state revenue service and other regulatory bodies.
7. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
8. Use bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, and databases to record and retrieve financial data.
9. Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
10. Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within the Real Estate or Mortgage industry.
2. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
3. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel, and experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
5. Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
8. Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
9. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent business experience.
