Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Budget Analyst, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that are integral to our financial operations. These include:

1. Developing and managing comprehensive annual and multi-year budgets.
2. Performing detailed budget analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential risks.
3. Preparing budget reports and presenting findings to senior management.
4. Collaborating with department heads to develop budgets and financial plans.
5. Reviewing and approving budget-related requests and expenditures.
6. Assisting in the development and implementation of budgeting policies and procedures.
7. Providing guidance and support to other team members in all budget-related matters.
8. Participating in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
9. Conducting financial forecasting and modeling to support business planning.
10. Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in budget analysis or a similar role in the finance industry.
3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
5. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
