Job Details

We’re seeking a Building Controls Account Executive to lead sales efforts across the Greater New Orleans area. In this role, you’ll focus on driving new business while nurturing and expanding relationships with building owners, facility managers, engineers, property management groups, and mechanical contractors.

You’ll play a key role in promoting turnkey solutions for commercial HVAC, Building Automation Systems (BAS), and Energy Management—including new construction, retrofits, upgrades, service contracts, and preventive maintenance. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver accurate estimates, proposals, and bid packages based on customer needs and project requirements
  • Cultivate new business through networking, cold outreach, social media engagement, and referral generation
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure project alignment and customer satisfaction
  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with stakeholders ranging from facility technicians to executive decision-makers
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activity and pipeline progression in CRM platforms
  • Attend industry functions, association events, and trade shows to represent the company and expand local market presence
  • Act as a consultative resource to customers, delivering tailored recommendations that align with both building performance and business goals

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial HVAC or mechanical systems
  • 3+ years of proven sales experience within Building Automation / DDC Controls
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC equipment, BAS systems, and energy optimization solutions
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and developing long-term client relationships
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and digital prospecting strategies
  • Ability to conduct occasional site walks, including climbing ladders when necessary
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the Greater New Orleans market
