Job Details

Reporting to a senior infrastructure leader, you'll own the design, standards, and governance for building networking, cybersecurity, and connected systems across a portfolio where no two properties (or owners) look alike. Three core areas of focus:

Property-side cybersecurity — protecting connected building systems (HVAC, elevators, access control, cameras) from real-world threats
Property-side networking — setting the standard for how connectivity reaches each building (fiber, Wi-Fi, segmentation)
Real estate operations — translating standards into requirements that construction teams, GCs, and vendors actually follow

This is a strategy and standards role, not hands-on configuration. You won't be programming switches, but you need to be fluent at the architecture level (edge switches, distribution switches, firewalls) to direct the network engineers who do.
What you bring: 10-12+ years in OT/IT infrastructure (real estate, construction, or multi-site environments preferred), 5+ years converging disparate networks across vendors and owners, demonstrable hands-on AI use, strong cross-functional communication, and relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, CWNA) a plus.
Schedule: 3 days/week required on-site in Houston.
