We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Permanent Buildings Electrical Group Manager to join our esteemed Engineering firm. This exciting role is part of our dynamic and innovative team, and the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the electrical engineering group, including project management, personnel management, and technical leadership. This position offers the opportunity to lead a team of skilled professionals and to contribute to the design and construction of state-of-the-art buildings.

Responsibilities:

The Permanent Buildings Electrical Group Manager will have the following responsibilities:

1. Provide leadership and direction to the electrical engineering group, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

2. Oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems for a variety of building projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial structures.

3. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to ensure that all electrical systems are integrated seamlessly into the overall design and construction of each project.

4. Develop and implement strategic plans for the electrical engineering group, including budgeting, resource allocation, and personnel management.

5. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and construction technology, and implement these innovations into the group's practices.

6. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to electrical engineering and construction.

7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the group.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Buildings Electrical Group Manager position will have the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A master’s degree or higher is a plus.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within the engineering industry, with a focus on electrical systems for buildings.

3. Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and leading teams of engineers.

4. Proficiency in electrical engineering software and tools, as well as project management software.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.

6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

7. A deep understanding of electrical engineering principles and construction technology, as well as relevant local, state, and federal regulations.

8. Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
