Job Details

As a Business Applications Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our core business applications, with a focus on Viewpoint Vista. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across departments to ensure systems are running efficiently, support end-users, implement updates and customizations, and help drive continuous improvement through thoughtful technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer, configure, and maintain core business applications, particularly Viewpoint Vista
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for system improvements and customizations
Implement and test application updates, patches, and new modules
Provide day-to-day technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
Maintain data integrity, security, and system performance
Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
Develop and deliver user training and documentation
Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support business decision-making
Work with IT and other departments to ensure proper integration between systems
Assist with vendor coordination for system support, updates, and integrations
Maintain clear documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures
Stay current with best practices in business application management and industry trends

Qualifications:
Required:
2+ years of experience administering and supporting business applications
Hands-on experience with Viewpoint Vista (or similar ERP system)
Strong understanding of business process workflows (e.g., accounting, job costing, procurement, HR)
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users
Comfortable working in a small, collaborative team environment
Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Preferred:
Experience with SQL reporting or Crystal Reports
Familiarity with system integrations and APIs
