Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to lead strategic growth initiatives and expand our market presence in the commercial and industrial construction sectors. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong network in the Chicagoland construction industry and a passion for building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, developers, architects, and engineers.
  • Lead proposal development, presentations, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and project management teams to align client needs with company capabilities.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategic planning.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in business development or sales within the mechanical contracting or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
