We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our commercial construction general contracting firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth, identifying new opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the commercial construction sector.

- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to meet company goals and objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial construction industry
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential leads
- Coordinate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials and strategies
- Lead the bid process, including managing pre-qualification questionnaires and overseeing the tendering process
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals
- Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring adherence to legal guidelines
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Provide regular reports to senior management on business development activities and progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development within the commercial construction industry
- Proven track record of generating new business and achieving revenue growth
- Strong understanding of the construction industry, including market trends and competitive landscape
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
