We are seeking an energetic and skilled Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in the pharma space, building relationships with potential clients, and negotiating contracts to secure profitable deals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharma market trends, a bachelor's degree, and at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the pharma industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients to create new business opportunities.
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice to senior management.
  • Prepare and present persuasive approaches and pitches to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts with potential clients in a manner that maximizes profit while maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and to stay informed about the activities of the business.
  • Develop a growth strategy that focuses on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a Scientific related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales or a related role, preferably in the scientific industry.
  • Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of market trends and negotiating contracts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable experience in negotiation and meeting client requirements.
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing your workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with the scientific industry and its current events.
  • The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organization.
