Responsibilities:
As our Business Development Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech sector.
2. Developing customized targeted sales strategies to optimize market share and profitability.
3. Building business relationships with potential clients, understanding their specific needs, and providing tailored solutions.
4. Cold calling potential clients, presenting our company and products, and converting leads into sales.
5. Managing and nurturing client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
6. Collaborating with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to understand and promote our company's product offerings.
7. Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary, using CRM systems.
8. Participating in industry events and conferences, representing the company professionally and positively.
9. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry.
2. Proven track record in B2B sales, lead generation, and account management.
3. Exceptional cold calling skills with a persistent, yet professional, 'hunter' attitude.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
5. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence.
6. Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
7. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure.
8. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
9. Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
