Job Details

Our construction company is seeking a Business (Financial) Analyst II to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and creating reports to help the company make informed business decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience with business analysis, financial planning and analysis, and IT business analysis. The candidate must also have experience with JD Edwards, Power BI, and gap analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Create reports and presentations to communicate findings to management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial plans and budgets
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas of improvement in financial processes
  • Provide support to the IT department in implementing financial software and systems
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast business performance
  • Monitor and track financial performance against budget and forecast
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as needed

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, financial planning and analysis, or IT business analysis
  • Experience with JD Edwards, Power BI, and gap analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus
