We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Immigration Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent, FULLY REMOTE position where you will be responsible for preparing and filing a wide range of business immigration petitions, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, E-2, and EB-1, EB-2, EB-3. This role will require a deep understanding of the PERM labor certification process. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in business immigration and a proven track record of success.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a diverse caseload of business immigration matters, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, E-2, and EB-1, EB-2, EB-3.
2. Prepare and file immigration applications and petitions, including drafting support letters, gathering supporting documentation, and compiling visa packages.
3. Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on changes in immigration law and procedures.
4. Communicate effectively with clients, including responding to inquiries regarding case status, procedural requirements, and legal questions.
5. Liaise with government agencies, such as USCIS and the Department of Labor, regarding case status and procedural requirements.
6. Assist with the preparation and submission of PERM labor certification applications.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all case activities.
8. Provide assistance to attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and meetings.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in business immigration, specifically with H-1B, L-1, O-1, E-2, and EB-1, EB-2, EB-3.
3. Familiarity with the PERM labor certification process.
4. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
6. Strong research and analytical skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Proficiency in using legal research software and case management systems.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
