Our esteemed law firm is seeking a dynamic and passionate Business Immigration Paralegal to join our team. This unique opportunity is designed for a professional with a solid background in immigration law, specifically in business immigration. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the legalities involved in business immigration and will be responsible for providing support to our team of attorneys, helping our clients navigate through complex immigration procedures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant immigration laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Business Immigration Paralegal, you will be expected to:

1. Prepare and file non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications for permanent residency and secondary benefits.
2. Organize and manage client documentation and data in immigration management systems.
3. Conduct legal research on immigration law and procedures.
4. Draft legal correspondence and memoranda for attorney review.
5. Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation in a timely manner.
6. Assist attorneys in managing case load and client interactions, and serve as a point of contact for many clients.
7. Maintain an organized, status-updated case load, and report regularly to attorneys regarding case status and any issues.
8. Provide superior client service by responding to client inquiries and maintaining a high degree of professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a business immigration paralegal, with a focus on non-immigrant and immigrant visa applications and PERM labor certification.
2. A bachelor's degree in law, political science, business administration, or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visas and client processes.
4. Exceptional writing skills, with attention to detail and ability to write clear and persuasive narratives.
5. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent organizational skills and a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and integrity.
7. Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. A commitment to providing excellent service to our diverse clientele.
