A bit about us:
Our client is actively recruiting for senior business litigation attorney to join its sophisticated litigation practice in Manatee County. This is a rare partnership-track opportunity designed for an experienced litigator looking to take on complex commercial disputes while building toward equity ownership in a thriving practice.
The firm has established itself as a formidable force in Southwest Florida's business litigation arena, representing a diverse clientele ranging from emerging startups to established corporations, real estate developers, and high-net-worth individuals. The business litigation practice encompasses the full spectrum of complex commercial disputes, with particular strength in cases involving breach of contract, business torts, shareholder disputes, community association law, commercial real estate conflicts, and construction disputes.
As a senior member of the litigation team, you'll independently manage a sophisticated docket of high-value business disputes while mentoring junior associates. Your role will encompass all phases of complex litigation, from case strategy development and initial pleadings through trial advocacy and post-judgment enforcement. You'll draft and argue motions, conduct extensive discovery in complex commercial matters, take and defend depositions of corporate executives and expert witnesses, and represent clients in state and federal courts throughout Florida.
We are seeking candidates with at least 7 years of substantive litigation and trial experience and a proven track record of favorable case outcomes. This position requires someone who can deliver strategic, results-oriented counsel to business clients while building and maintaining long-term relationships that drive practice growth.
This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary, lucrative bonus structure, 100% firm sponsored health benefits, generous PTO, and a genuine path to partnership for the right candidate. Our client believes in promoting from within and has a history of advancing attorneys into equity partnership.
