- Take ownership of end-to-end purchasing for direct and indirect materials, ensuring cost-effective, timely procurement that supports uninterrupted production.
- Collaborate with vendors to source competitive pricing, negotiate terms, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Generate and manage purchase orders through our digital systems, maintaining detailed records for compliance and reporting.
- Monitor deliveries, troubleshoot issues, and keep production teams informed and equipped.
- Partner with internal departments—from accounting to scheduling—to resolve discrepancies, support audits, and optimize inventory strategies.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
- Help maintain a safe, smooth-running environment by ensuring supplies and services are aligned with production schedules.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of equivalent experience in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement roles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail—you’re the kind of person who double-checks everything and catches issues before they happen.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and thrive in a team-focused environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a big plus.
- Working knowledge of supply management, logistics, inventory control, and vendor coordination.
