Job Details
As 2nd shift Finishing Supervisor, you’ll lead the complete finishing process — from prep to perfection. This is your chance to blend technical expertise with hands-on leadership, ensuring each product is delivered to the highest standards.

What You Bring to the Table
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the finishing department, ensuring quality, consistency, and timeliness of completed products
- Lead communication across internal teams and with external partners to address inquiries and drive resolutions
- Manage customer inquiries related to finishing selections and timelines, providing proactive updates and support
- Drive scheduling, workflow management, and resource planning to meet production deadlines
- Analyze KPIs and performance metrics to identify trends and implement improvements
- Champion efficiency through innovative tools, techniques, and process enhancements
- Advocate for continuous improvement with a focus on waste reduction, consistency, and overall quality
What You Bring to the Table
- 2+ years of experience in finishing or production management in a cabinetry or woodworking environment
- Strong hands-on knowledge of finishing techniques and materials — staining, sealing, lacquering, and sanding
- Experience with HVLP and airless spray equipment
- Familiarity with both water-based and solvent-based finishes
- Understanding of wood species, MDF, and veneer materials
- Sharp eye for detail with color matching and paint mixing skills
- Experience using KPIs and production data to drive improvements
- Problem-solving mindset with a proven ability to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions
- ERP system experience is a major plus
