CAD & Design Systems Manager
Mission Critical / Data Center Projects
Location: Dallas, TX or Remote
Position Summary: We are seeking a CAD & Design Systems Manager to support the design and delivery of Building Automation (BAS/BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring (EPMS) systems for mission-critical and data center facilities.
This role will serve as the technical leader for AutoCAD standards, drawing production, engineering documentation, and quality control processes across a growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and maintaining control system drawings, wiring schematics, panel layouts, and engineering standards within mission-critical, data center, controls, or electrical engineering environments.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain company-wide AutoCAD standards, templates, and engineering documentation practices
- Standardize control drawings, panel layouts, one-lines, wiring diagrams, and schematic packages
- Manage drawing libraries, symbols, blocks, and reusable design content
- Perform QA/QC reviews of engineering deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Support engineering teams with AutoCAD workflows and best practices
- Improve drawing production efficiency through standardization and process improvements
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, and field teams throughout project execution
- Support BAS, BMS, and EPMS design efforts for mission-critical and data center projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years of CAD management, CAD administration, or engineering design experience
- Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical
- Experience developing engineering drawing standards and documentation procedures
- Experience with wiring diagrams, control schematics, panel layouts, and electrical drawings
- Experience supporting BAS, BMS, EPMS, controls, electrical, or MEP engineering teams
- Strong QA/QC and document control experience
